Dri Mark’s FLASH TEST Captures #1 in Loss Prevention at ISC West Show in Vegas

Dri Mark, exhibiting for the first time at the Security Expo, previewed the FLASH TEST in ISC’s New Product Showcase. With over 120 entries pitched to industry experts in a variety of categories, the Flash Test’s unique capacity for testing counterfeit currency captured the interest of the judges and security professionals. The compact detection unit, along with a convenient training video accessed via a QR code, provides 3 effective tests for US money and most foreign currencies. The Ink Detector performs a quick scan of the ink on the front of the bill and responds either with a green light and audible beep confirming the money is authentic, or is silent without any light, indicating the bill is suspicious. The Watermark Detector shows the presence, or lack thereof, of the Watermark for the appropriate bill denomination. The UV Detector tests for the embedded security thread specific to each denomination.
This recognition reflects the ongoing development of counterfeit detection devices that are quick and simple to use and provide on-demand training to educate associates on what to look for when testing money before it enters the cash drawer.
